if i stay tour!!!!!!!!!!

March 2nd, 2010

If I Stay has been out almost a year, and I’m finally going on tour.

What can I say? I have two kids. It takes me a while to get my act together. Okay, that’s not actually it (though that is certainly true). The paperback is coming out April 6th, and wait till you see the new cover! It is AMAZING and completely DIFFERENT. I will unveil it here in the next few days, I promise.

But in the mean time, here is the tour schedule. I think a few more dates will be added in my hometowns—L.A, where I was born, and NYC, where I will probably die—but for now, here are the confirmed dates. Also, the readings aren’t going to be your garden-variety recite a few pages of a chapter-deal. I’m billing this as If I Stay: The Musical Tour. You’ll have to come to a reading—or catch a webcast of one—to see what that means.

  9. You should come to Boston. Boston Boston Boston Boston.
    I wish.

  10. What happened to Virginia?!?!? Did all the snow scare you off? I can get a personal snow-melter for you if that would help… :)

  11. I was hoping for DC—I LOVE the ladies who run Politics & Prose—and I also wish Boston was happening. But…I got two small kids so I love that Allison, who sets up my tour, keeps that in mind and doesn’t keep me on the road for too long. I promise next time I’m up in Boston down in DC area (or deeper into VA), I’ll set up a reading.

  12. Im planning to come see you at the Teen Author Festival:-)

  13. I see the Seattle stop but where’s the Charleston stop? Playing favorites with the siblings….
