are you sick of me yet?

March 17th, 2010

Well, I am.

But in case you’re not, here’s even more chances to indulge in Gayle.

New York Book Tour Date Added!

Monday, April 12, Brooklyn, NY

Bookcourt, 7PM
163 Court Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201

And of course, tomorrow, NYC Teen Author Fest, I’ll be reading at Seward Park NYPL along with:
Cathleen Bell, Susane Colasanti, Matt De La Pena and Daphne Grab. I think I’ll be reading a never-published, never-heard short story and giving away a copy of Sisters in Sanity and the not-yet-released paperback of If I Stay.

And Sunday is the big signing at Books of Wonder. I’m on at 2:45

And if that’s not enough Gayle for you (and it’s plenty for me), well you can check out these two videos that I made for my French fans (I’m like Jerry Lewis in France; i.e. If I Stay—or Si Je Reste as it called, is bigger there than anywhere. They seem to love me in France and the feeling is so mutual.) Anyhow, French readers wanted to do a chat but owing to my lack of French-speaking ability, we had to do it this way: They asked questions. I answered via video and posted to Youtube. In English. So you can watch me answer some new questions and mangle the French titles of my books (no comments from the Francophone peanut gallery!) It’s a long Q&A so it’s in two parts.

Part 1 is here:

And Part 2 is here:

Okay, seriously now, that is enough.

  1. I ended up going to the SI reading this morning (March 18th), and all the authors left as I was parking my car!

I will see you on Sunday! And if you aren’t sick of me by April 12th, I’ll probably be there and I will definitely see you at BEA.

  2. Personally, I can’t get enough of Gayle Forman!

  3. Gayle you never cease to amaze me. You are such an accomplished writer and you Q&A presentation shows such insight, thoughfullness and poise. Robert is in Nevis to run the triathlon on Sunday and as he was watching the Q&A with me and Mom he commented on what talented children we have. I couldn’t agree more.

Love you and kiss the girls,

    DAD

  4. awesome job, yo. and I promise I’ll come to the Bookcourt do, how could I not? xxx
